Cuba Travel Services, Inc. will begin offering non-stop weekly flights from LAX to Havana starting June 30, 2009. The move comes as The Obama Administration recently lifted travel restrictions to Cuba. This gives Cubans people greater ease to visit their relatives in that country.
“President Obama has directed that a series of steps be taken to reach out to the Cuban people to support their desire to enjoy basic human rights and to freely determine their country’s future,” White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said.
