“9 to 5: The Musical,” the Broadway based on the hit movie of the same name will end it’s Broadway run in September. The musical, nominated for multiple Tony awards, has played for four months. Country superstar, Dolly Parton, who starred in the movie and who wrote and sang the title song, wrote the musical’s score. Though the show will end on Broadway, it is possible that it will still tour the country. Parton said in a statement, “I can’t wait for this show to hit the road so people across the country can see why I’m so proud of everyone involved,” she said. “And I’m so pleased that we’ll be opening the tour in Nashville. Great things happen in Nashville.”
