Comic-Con officials announced that San Diego will remain the city of Comic-Con through 2015. The city beat out top contenders such as Los Angeles and Anaheim.
“San Diego has been home to Comic-Con for over 40 years and it’s an honor to continue hosting this important event, which is now so much a part of the fabric of our community,” Mayor Jerry Sanders said.
Tickets are already on sale for Comic-Com 2012 which runs from July 12, 2012 through July 15 2012.
“Our bid was successful because of the combined efforts of our Convention Center team, the hotels and our entire hospitality community,” Sanders added.
