The jury is still out from this “Dark Shadows” lover on the new trailer for Tim Burton’s re- imagining of the cult soap opera “Dark Shadows.” The soap ran on ABC daytime beginning in the late 60s and ended in 1971. The movie, based of this trailer is too campy and “Burton-esque” to tell the tale of the flawed but rootable Barnabus Collins played by Johnny Depp. I’m reserving full judgement for May 11th when the movie is released. I’m hoping that the storytelling and Depp’s acting will curb my doubts about it. Check out the trailer below:
