Last Days Here: the story of Pentagram and lead singer Bobby Liebling

“Last Days Here” tells the story of Bobby Liebling, lead singer of the 70s cult heavy metal rock band Pentagram. From filmmakers Don Argott and Demian Fenton, this documentary looks at all facets of Bobby’s life.

As Bobby’s friend and manager Sean “Pellet” Pelletier tries to revive his career, Bobby struggles with trying to stay alive.

The movie features interviews with fans and former band member telling stories about how close Pentagram came to making it and then just not.

Bobby’s years of heavy drug addiction is highlighted in the movie. It sends the message that It provides a hard and realistic look at the toll that living by the code of “sex, drugs, and rock n roll” can take on one’s body and mind.Fenton and Argott say that they never set out to make a “roc doc” but that is exactly what they have made.

The story isn’t all rock n roll, however, but also about Bobby’s journey from the bottom to him and his band finally breaking through and achieving their goals.

The true stars of this film, however, are Bobby’s long suffering and loving parents, who stick by their child through thick and thin, even letting him live in their basement over the years.
