Science has given the green light to an all-new season of “Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman.” The Academy Award winning Actor, will once again host the upcoming ten-episode season set to debut in summer 2013.
The series is currently in its third season, poses questions spanning space, science, consciousness, and the endless universe of the unknown.
“This project has become my own personal playground to explore mysteries ranging from the edges of the universe to the innervese of the mind,” said Freeman. “Through the Wormhole encourages us to take a closer look at questions that have boggled humanity since our creation. We’ve asked some huge questions in the past, but you haven’t seen anything yet – we’re just getting started.”

The third season is the franchise’s most-watched to date and includes topics such as: Will Eternity End?, Is There a Superior Race?, and Did We Invent God? Premiere episodes air on SCIENCE Wednesday nights at 10 PM ET/PT.
Revelations Entertainment, which produces the program has a long history with Freeman. The company’s movie, “Invictus,” was nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for Morgan Freeman and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for Matt Damon.
