“Sparkle,” the last film by Whitney Houston, opens this month on August 17th. The movie also stars Jordin Sparks, Carmen Ejogo, Tika Sumpter, Cee Lo Green and Derek Luke. “Sparkles” chronicles the story of three sisters who have a dream to make it in the music business and are determined to do everything to make their dreams come true.
Brely Evans, who plays Sparkle’s best friend Tune Anne in the movie, talked to Spotlight-On-Entertainment for LA Music Examiner about her time making the movie. The actress is a spokesman for Jenny Craig and has another project “Note to Self,” currently in post production.
This interview was conducted in January 2012, one month before Houston died.
