Lifetime airs the new movie “Fatal Honeymoon” tonight. Based on the true story of Gabe and Tina Watson, “Fatal Honeymoon” tells the story of the newly married couple who were in Australia for their honeymoon when tragedy struck.

Actress Amber Clayton (Three Rivers) stars as Christina Mae “Tina” Thomas Watson, a 26-year-old American from Alabama who died while scuba diving on her honeymoon in Australia.

Actor Billy Miller (The Young and the Restless) stars as David Gabriel “Gabe” Watson, Tina’s husband of 11 days, who was originally charged with her murder.

“Fatal Honeymoon” premieres Saturday, August 25 at 8/7c on Lifetime.
