There’s a lot of good soapy drama for Angie and Jesse in Pine valley these days. Jeese knows that Maya is the biological mother of their daughter Lucy and Angie is still blind. Will Angie find out the baby she’s raising as her own isn’t hers? Will Jesse tell her that their actual daughter Ellie died during child birth? Will David be able to restore Angie’s sight? Will Angie and Jesse ever agree on David’s involvement in Angie’s health?
There are so many unanswered questions in Pine Valley for the Hubbards between now and ABC’s final broadcast of the show on September 23rd. Details are also still pending about All My Children’s transition online with Prospeck Park in January. No matter what happens, both Darnell Williams [Jesse] and Debbie Morgan [Angie] hope that Angie and Jesse are together in the end.
“I want Angie and Jesse to continue dealing with everyday problems,” Darnell says in the September issue of Essence Magazine. Adds Debbie, “That would be a nice tip to their relationship. Darnell ad-libbed during a scene and said, ‘Baby, you know nobody stays together in Pine Valley except the Black folks,” she laughs. “This couple has endured so much over the years. I’ll always be proud of that.”
“All My Children” airs weekdays on ABC.
