Betty and her friends are back. Lifetime networks has picked up “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers,” rescuing it from cancellation after NBC pulled the plug on the series, THR reports. Twenty original half-hour episodes of the hidden-camera series has been ordered and White will return to host the third season of the series in 2014. A formal premiere date has not yet been determined.
The series, in which White introduces a group of elderly comedians pranking the younger generation with hidden camera skits, aired on NBC for two seasons. White also stars in TV Lands “Hot in Cleveland.”
