The BET Awards were handed out tonight in Los Angeles. The annual live show, is one of the most watched award shows on cable television per Nielsen. The “BET Awards” announces winners in 19 categories. Funny man Chris Rock hosted the night with routines mocking BET shows “The Game” and “Being Mary Jane” and performances of the night by Jennifer Hudson, Chris Brown, USHER and breakout artist August Alsina. Superstar Lionel Richie received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his 40 year career. Below is a complete list winners.
