Get ready for Season 6 “Once Upon a Time” fans. ABC is helping viewers catch up on the show as a new special “Once Upon a Time: Evil Reigns Once More,” airs on Sunday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m.
The special will take a look at the role that family plays in the show – which never gives up on the ones you love, our heroes’ journey from breaking the curse to the ramifications of magic in our world.
Highlights of the past five seasons are explored, including traveling to Neverland to save Henry from an evil Peter Pan, the battle with The Wicked Witch of the West, Elsa’s time in Sorybrooke and Emma becoming the Dark One.
Executive producers, Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, will be interviewed to help tell the story of “Once Upon a Time: Evil Reigns Once More.”
The series stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Rebecca Mader as the Wicked Witch/Zelena and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
“Once Upon a Time” returns to ABC for its sixth season, following the special at 8:00 p.m. In the season premiere episode, “The Savior,” as our heroes set out to stop Hyde, Emma develops a mysterious side effect, and Storybrooke becomes a haven for refugees from the Land of Untold Stories. Meanwhile, Regina and Zelena embrace their newfound sisterhood by becoming roommates, while Rumple tries to free Belle from the sleeping Curse with the help of a stranger. In flashback, Jafar confronts an afflicted Aladdin in Agrabah, and a secret about the Savior is revealed.
