Universal Studios Hollywood kicked off their Halloween Horror Night got off to a terrifying start as Hollywood celebrities paraded along the blood-red carpet in honor of the event’s opening night festivities, which kicked off this evening and will continue on select nights through November 5, 2016.
Many of Hollywood’s biggest horror stars attended including Linda Blair (The Exorcist and Founder of the Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation); “American Horror Story” cast, including Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, Finn Wittrock and Naomi Grossman; Eli Roth (“Eli Roth Presents Terror Tram,” Hostel); director Michael Dougherty (Krampus) and Seth Green (Krampus, “Family Guy”); Ouija: Origin of Evil cast, including Elizabeth Reaser, Annalise Basso, Lulu Wilson, Kate Siegel and director Mike Flanagan; Slash (musician); director James Wan (Insidious and “MacGyver”); Leigh Whannell (Insidious and Saw franchises); Guillermo Diaz (“Scandal”); Mark Ballas (“Dancing with the Stars”); Diego Boneta (“Scream Queens”); Olivia Holt (“I Didn’t Do It”); Jabbawockeez; and John Murdy, Creative Director at Universal Studios Hollywood and Executive Producer of “Halloween Horror Nights.”
The terrifying mazes this year include “American Horror Story,” “The Exorcist: The Possession of Regan MacNeil,” “Freddy vs. Jason: Dream Battle,” with Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and notorious hockey mask killer Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th) and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Blood Brothers,” to name a few.
Rides also open in the park are “Transformers: The Ride-3D,” “Jurassic Park–In the Dark,” “The Simpsons Ride” and “Revenge of the Mummy–The Ride.”
