Terrell Ransom Jr: 10 Things to know about ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’ star

Not many young actors are as accomplished as multi-talented actor Terrell Ransom Jr. Ransom has starred in movies and television and is expanding his horizons with new projects in every field of entertainment. There is so much more to the actor that meets the eye.

Below are 10 things to know about the Terrell Ransom Jr.

1. He plays Darwin on “The Amazing World of Gumball.”  

Ransom plays Darwin, the talking goldfish and adopted brother of a cat named Gumball on the show that airs on The Cartoon Network. Being on the show is awesome because of its incredible fan base.

2 His Favorite “The Amazing World of Gumball” Episode:

The Origins Pt. 1 and Pt 2 that tells the story of a young Darwin and Young Gumball and how Darwin got his legs.

3. Voice acting is very different from On-Camera Acting:

Terrell likes both for different reasons. Says Terrell, “Acting in front of the camera is more difficult — there’s so much more than just the voice. You have to make sure you have the right facial expressions, you have to make sure you aren’t doing anything weird with your hands or you are not saying the wrong lines. Voice acting is way more relaxed than that. You can have your script in front of you. You can kind of see what you are doing. There’s a little monitor on the screen.  You can come in in pajamas and everything.”

4. Terrell appeared on the popular soap opera “Days of our Lives.” 

Ransom played Theo Carver, a young boy with autism, on “Days of our Lives.” Lasting seven years, it was Terrell’s first acting role. He worked closely with James Reynolds who played his dad on the show which has won the Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Drama.

5 Terrell has a dream role on his bucket list:

Since the actor is a Star Wars fans, any role in Star Wars would be great – a Jedi, any role really. He would also love to be a young superhero in a superhero movie. He loves Harry Potter and recently saw “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Being in the Harry Potter Series would be great.

6. If he could have a Superpower – Terrell has thought long and hard about this over the years and his wish for a superpower is teleportation

7. Terrell sings and plays guitar  

Terrell a rapper whose raps under the name Kid Prodigy.

8. He has a movie coming out next year 

Terrell was recently on location where he was shooting a movie. He can’t share any details right now but is excited for everyone to see it one it comes out.

9 . On how his family spends the holidays:

For Thanksgiving, his family had an awesome dinner together

For Christmas for the last few years his went on the last few we went on cruises and vacations

What he plans to eat too much of over the holidays – Sweet Potato Pie, no everything
