RSO: Richie Sambora and Orianthi will rock the Nissan Grand Plaza Stage at the NAMM show on January 19. The show will start at 6:00PM.
The rock duo will kick off the show in their first NAMM peformance together.
The two platinum selling artists have toured the world, written #1 singles, collaborated with mega-stars and have released solo projects- separately, but now they have joined forces for RSO.
Grammy award-winner Sambora is best known for being a member, songwriter and guitartist for the platinum selling band Bon Jovi. He is in the Songwriters Hall of Fame having co written many of Bon Jovi biggest hits which includes “Livin on a Prayer”, “Wanted Dead or Alive” and “You Give Love a Bad Name”.
Australian-born Orianthi, brings her guitar talents to the group. She is one of only three female guitarists ever to appeare on the cover of US Guitar magazine, the first female guitarist to play in Alice Cooper’s band and was chosen by the late Michael Jackson for his ‘This Is It’ concert tour.
RSO have been working with producer Desmond Child and will release their debut album this year.
Also performing on the Grand Plaza Stage during the weekend include Bernie Williams, Ronnie Spector and The Ronnettes.
An industry-only event, NAMM’s biannual trade show event features music products from across the industry and unites retailers, manufacturers and musicians around the world.
NAMM trade shows are produced annually by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM). The NAMM Show in Anaheim is a trade-only event that draws more than 100,000 members of the music products industry. Summer NAMM is held in Nashville.
