“The Voice” Top 12 contestants for Season 12 performed live on Monday, April 24. This is the first time the contestants performed for only the audiences votes as there are no more steals or saves from the coaches. The contestants performed one at a time and received feed back from guest mentor Shania Twain and from coaches Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
On Tuesday, April 25 the two contestants that received the lowest amount of votes will sing for the first save of the season. They will perform live during the results show, and viewers will have the commercial break to vote on Twitter for their favorite. The contestant with the most votes will be safe from elimination, while the other will be sent home.
