“Fear Factor,” the show that encourages its contestants to face their biggest fears, heads to MTV with Ludacris as host and executive producer.
Filled with new stunts inspired by urban legends, popular scary movies and viral videos from today’s cultural zeitgeist, “Fear Factor” contestants will confront their fears, be pushed beyond their comfort zones and take action against some of their biggest stressors with the use of today’s newest technologies.
In the premiere episode, entitled, “Ice Is Thicker Than Water,” Ludacris challenges teams of siblings to conquer their fears of cockroaches in “Roachella” and to take a trip to the morgue. But they must survive being trapped under the ice to win $50,000.
The one hour long 12 episode season is all set to premiere on MTV on May 30 at 10 p.m. ET.
