Check out the first trailer for Hugh Jackman’s “The Greatest Showman.” The movie tells the story of P.T. Barnum and his creation of the circus that later became known as Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s Circus which closed this year after a historic 146-year run.
The movie which also a musical is directed by Michael Gracey and features songs from Oscar and Tony winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, Dear Evan Hansen). The movie follows Barnum from his poverty-stricken childhood to the launch of his first circus in New York. The movie also stars Michelle Williams as Barnum’s wife, Charity, Zac Efron as Barnum’s business partner and Zendaya, as a trapeze artist whom Efron’s character falls in love with.
Look for the movie in theaters later this year.
