The cast of “Star” is growing. Actress Michael Michele will join the cast as a regular for Season 2.
The actress, best known for her role on NBC’s iconic drama “ER,” will play Ayanna, a modern day Alexis Carrington type who is the new president of the girls’ record label, and money is the bottom line for her. She knows the music business is changing and is driven to do whatever it takes to make her label relevant.
“Star” stars Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Jude Demorest, Brittany O’Grady, Ryan Destiny, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown and Miss Lawrence.
“Star” returns for Season 2 on Wednesday, September 27 at 9:00 p.m. after “Empire” on FOX.
