Hold on to your seats “The Bold and the Beautiful” fans. The Forresters have a new Thorne. Daytime vet Ingo Rademacher has been cast as the long-forgotten brother on the world’s #1 soap. The news comes on the heels of current Throne, Winsor Harmon, announcing on Twitter that the role had been recast.

TV Insider’s Michael Logan first reported the news of Rademacher’s hiring. Rademacher is best known for his role as Aussie billionaire Jasper Jax on “General Hospital.”

Thorne Forrester has been on and off the show in recent years, last seen in 2016 when the Forrester kids boycotted their Dad, Eric’s (John McCook) wedding to step-mom Quinn (Rena Sofer).

Rademacher was almost hired to play an upcoming recurring role on “Bold” but executive producer and head writer Brad Bell, changed his mind, offering him a contract role instead.

“My managers called me up and said B&B was interested in my doing this 11-episode character, and I said, ‘Sweet. Let’s do it.’,” Rademacher told TV Insider.  “But then, as I understand it, [executive producer] Brad Bell had a change of heart and wanted to give me a full-time, contract role.”

Expect to see the forgotten son return in mid-November.
