“Dynasty” -“Spit it Out” Season 1 Episode 2 Promo – When the first episode of “Dynasty” ended, Blake and Cristal were on their way to their honeymoon after the surprise wedding they threw, leaving Fallon in a frenzy about getting a new step-mother and a new boss in the same day. In a rebellious move, the younger Carrington made her own deal with Jeff Colby. She brought a new company with him and declared herself CFO, much to Blake’s chagrin. The business was put aside for the moment when tragedy struck. Matthew, a Carrington employee and Cristal’s ex, had been killed in an work accident.
In episode 2, when it’s discovered that Matthew’s “accidental” death may have involved foul play, the spotlight falls on the Carringtons themselves.
The family must swallow their own suspicions of each other and close rank to defend the clan. Cristal (Nathalie Kelley) struggles with what it means to be a Carrington, while Fallon (Elizabeth Gilles) begrudgingly helps cover up Cristal’s affair to protect the family name.
Despite their efforts, everything comes to an emotional head at Matthew’s funeral.
Grant Show, James Mackay, Rafael de la Fuente and Alan Dale also star. Sallie Patrick wrote the episode, directed by Michael Allowitz.
