“Days of our Lives” is getting a new legal eagle. Veteran actor Gilles Marini will be joining the Emmy winning drama series according to EW. Marini has a long television history appearing as a series regular on “Switched at Birth,” “Devious Maids” and “Brothers and Sisters.”
Marini will play, Ted, an attorney who meets and is drawn to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and will first air in June. It’s unclear how long Marini will be on the show, but word is it should be for at least a few months.
This isn’t Marini’s first turn in soaps. The actor had a two-episode stint on “The Bold and the Beautiful” last year as a doctor during the show’s Monte Carlo episodes.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
