Coming to DVD and Blu-ray: Oscar-nominated ‘Phantom Thread’

“Phantom Thread,” nominated for six Academy Awards comes to DVD and Blu-ray on March 27.

“Phantom Thread,” starring three-time Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis is coming to arriving on Digital and digital on March 27 and on Blu-rayTM, DVD and On Demand on April 10 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The movie was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

“Phantom Thread” received six Academy Awards® nominations for Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Director, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Original Score and Best Costume Design.

Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, Phantom Thread is set in the glamour of 1950’s post-war London. Renowned dressmaker Reynolds Woodcock and his sister Cyril are at the center of British fashion, dressing royalty, movie stars, heiresses, socialites, debutants and dames with the distinct style of The House of Woodcock. Women come and go through Woodcock’s life, providing the confirmed bachelor with inspiration and comfort, until he comes across a young, strong-willed woman, Alma, who soon becomes a fixture in his life as his muse and lover.
