Here is a list of the The WGA Awards that were handed over the weekend. In the movie categories, “Get Out” and “Call Me by Your Name” were the night’s big winners, taking the top prize for original and the adapted screenplay respectively. The Julia Louis Dreyfus comedy, “Veep” and Hulu’s drama “The Handmaid’s Tale” topped the television category. In the Daytime Drama category, “General Hospital” went head to head against “Days of our Lives” with the former winning out.
