Music superstar Kelly Clarkson may be coming to the small screen in the day. The original “American Idol” is taping a pilot for a syndicated daytime talk show for NBC which is expected to premiere in 2019, according to Broadcasting & Cable.
Clarkson, who is a coach on “The Voice,” recently tried her luck at hosting duties as the host of the 2018 Billboard Music Awards earlier this year. Clarkson joins RuPaul Charles and Tamron Hall as potential talk show host as the two have talk shows in development, Charles with Warner Bros. and Hall with ABC.
“The Voice” premieres a new season on Monday, September 24th on NBC.
