getTV pays its “RESPECT” to music legend Aretha Franklin, who died earlier this week with a rarely seen December 1967 episode of “The Kraft Music Hall,” airing this Sunday, August 19 at 11:00 p.m.
This iconic episode of the series, features Liza Minnelli, Woody Allen and the “Queen of Soul” in one of her earliest TV appearances performing two of the biggest hits of her career, Otis Redding’s “Respect” and “Chain of Fools.”
“Kraft Music Hall” was a weekly variety series, sponsored by Kraft Foods that series aired on NBC from the 1950s to the 1970s.
