BTS army get ready! BTS is headed to AGT for “America’s Got Talent’s” semi-finals show on Wednesday, September 12. The show’s host Tyra Banks announced on the show that the popular supergroup will perform their hit “Idol” on Wednesday’s semifinal results show.
Banks had been “courting” the band to make an appearance, announcing on the show for every week that she was campaigning for “BTS to hit AGT.” The supermodel also hit up the band on Twitter for an appearance.
It looks like all her hard work paid off. BTS is the first K-pop act to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart.
“America’s Got Talent” concludes its last semifinal run next week before its two-night finale where one of 10 acts will compete for the $1 million dollar prize and a headlining Las Vegas show in November.
“America’s Got Talent” airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays on NBC.
