NBC has launched a podcast for the iconic soap “Days of our Lives.” The companion podcast to its beloved long-running daytime drama with bi-weekly episodes of “Inside Salem: Days of our Lives Podcast.”
The podcast premieres Friday, Oct. 26 on both NBC.com and the NBC App and goes wide across standard podcast platforms on Mondays, starting October 29 on all standard platforms including Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify and others.
The half-hour podcast will provide fans with exclusive content such as cast and producer interviews, behind-the-scenes set visits and is hosted by “Days of our Lives” digital producer and veteran journalist Michael Fairman. Plus, exclusive to NBC.com and the NBC App, “Inside Salem: Days of our Lives Podcast” will include official show photography in addition to audio of the podcast episode. Premiere episode guests include Rob Scott Wilson (Ben Weston), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady) and James Reynolds (Abe Carver).
“Days of our Lives” which began its 54th season this fall, is set in the fictitious Midwestern town of Salem. The core families are the Bradys, Hortons, and DiMeras, and the multi-layered storylines involve elements of romance, adventure, mystery, comedy, and drama.
“Days of our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
