THE D.L. HUGHLEY TALK SHOW is a new talk show that dives headfirst into hot topics of the day and dishes on the latest news, entertainment, pop culture and what’s trending in social media. Shot in a highly stylized studio, the look and feel of the show is patterned after a traditional radio show, adapted for television. Always insightful and informative, D.L. and his co-host Jasmine Sanders use humor to deliver everything from hard news to lighter fare. The movie explores the life of Bobby DeBarge, the former lead singer of the 70’s R&B/Funk Band Switch. The eldest sibling of the world-famous pop group DeBarge found his life in peril as he struggled with fame and fortune while coping with the memories of his dysfunctional childhood. Inspired by TV One’s true crime programming, LOVED TO DEATH follows a newly engaged couple whose lives are cut short when they are suddenly gunned down by a crazed gunman at a toll booth. Upon meeting and falling in love with Chuck Everette, Deborah Ross leaves a long term abusive relationship with Nathan Burris to be with him. Just as their life is about to start, the two are suddenly gunned down at Deborah’s job as a toll booth operator. LOVED TO DEATH is produced for TV One by Asylum and written by Chad Quinn.
