The cast and crew of YouTube Originals series Cobra Kai” attended WonderCon to take about the upcoming season.
Season 2 Cobra Kai will continue with “John Kreese” (portrayed by Martin Kove) returning to the Cobra Kai dojo to influence his teachings on a new generation of students along with his former student “Johnny Lawrence” (William Zabka) while “Daniel LaRusso” (Ralph Macchio) will honor his mentor “Mr. Miyagi” by passing on Miyagi’s teachings and legacy in his own dojo.
When asked whether or not past “villains” from previous Karate Kid films would make appearances in the new Cobra Kai series, the creative team and executive producers of Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald would only say that “we are aware of all the characters within the Karate Kid Universe”, hinting that any past rivals and adversaries of “Daniel Russo” could possibly appear in future episodes of the new series.
Season 2 of the YouTube Originals series “Cobra Kai” is scheduled to premiere on the streaming channel on April 24th.
