The classic Spike Lee movie, “Do The Right Thing.” was a part of the lineup at the TCM Classic Film Festival held this weekend in Hollywood.
Before the movie was shown, casting director Robi Reed, costume designer Ruth Carter, and actress Joie Lee took part in a panel discussion about the film and its impact. Written, directed and produced by Spike Lee, “Do The Right Thing” focuses on a single day of the lives of racially diverse people who live and work in a lower class neighborhood in Brooklyn New York.
