Tonight on “The Voice” is the Live Cross Battles Part 2 on Monday, April 22 – 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The Live Cross Battles continue. In the game-changing round, artists from opposing teams will compete head-to-head live for America’s vote. Coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will select artists from their team in real time to compete against artist from other teams. Eight pairs of 16 artists will perform, and each artist will perform an individual song. Carson Daly (“TODAY Show”) hosts.
In every Cross Battle, two coaches will go head-to-head in a “live schoolyard pick,” each selecting one artist from their team to go up against another team’s artist. Each artist will perform an individual song, and their fate is in America’s hands to decide the winner. On the Tuesday results shows, host Carson Daly will reveal the winner of each Cross Battle based on America’s vote, and 11 artists will advance to the next round. The stakes are higher than ever before as America’s vote will ultimately decide the winner of each Cross Battle and who earns a spot in the Top 24 live show. For the first time, coaches may enter the Top 24 live show with an uneven number of artists on their team.
Each coach will also have the opportunity to save or steal eliminated artists during the live results show. The coaches will have one save and one steal to use over the course of the Cross Battles, and they will only have ten seconds to decide if they want to push their button to save or steal an artist.
On Tuesday, April 23 – 9:00 p.m., the winner of each Cross Battle will be revealed, as 8 artists advance to the Top 24 through America’s vote. Each coach will have the opportunity to save or steal eliminated artists live in the moment. The coaches will have one save and one steal to use over the course of the Cross Battles. They will have ten seconds to decide if they want to push their button to save or steal an artist.
