The cast of Disney Channel’s innovative new series, “Just Roll With It,” a hybrid of the traditional family sitcom and improvisational comedy, hosted a special screening for the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem at ABC in New York City on Tuesday, June 11. Series stars Tobie Windham (“Byron Blatt”), Suzi Barrett (“Rachel Bennett-Blatt”), Ramon Reed (“Owen Blatt”) and Kaylin Hayman (“Blair Bennett”) led an interactive improv session with the kids. A first look of “Just Roll With It” debuts Friday, June 14 (9:45 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW and moves to its regular day/time on Wednesday, July 19 at 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT.
“Just Roll With It” allows a studio audience to vote on the direction of key scenes throughout the filming while the actors are backstage—completely unaware of what’s in store for them.
The series centers around the newly blended Bennett-Blatt family—preteen step siblings Blair and Owen and their fun-loving parents Rachel and Byron—as they navigate everyday family life and the ups and downs of adolescence while balancing a household of contrasting personalities.
