The Beatles legends Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunited for only one night but it was a memorable one. McCartney was in Los Angeles for a gig at Dodger’s Stadium and invited his longtime friend to join him on stage for the encore.
“We’ve got a surprise for us, a surprise for you, a surprise for everyone: Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only, Ringo Starr,” McCartney said of Ring’s introduction.
Starr played the drums as McCartney sang The Beatles classic hits “Sgt.’ Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and “Helter Skelter,” to a sold-out crowd of more than 50,000. The concert marked the last leg of McCartney’s North American tour.
