‘Bring The Funny’ – Find Out Who Advanced to the Next Round

Get ready to laugh. “Bring The Funny” had a brand new episode that kept judges Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Tiegen and Jeff Foxworthy in stitches. So who advanced to the next round? Kristin Key

Solo

First introduced to comedy by watching Mel Brooks and listening to Jeff Foxworthy with her father, Kristin first began studying to become a paramedic, but soon realized that being a comedian was her true calling. A few months after convincing local club owners to give her a chance, she began taking her musical comedic storytelling across America.



Kids These Days

Members: 6 (Lida Darmian, Maggie Maxwell, Scott Hercman, Nick Reichheld, Rachael Burke, Adrian Frimpong)

Hometown: New York, NY

Resident: New York, NY

Division: Sketch Act

This newly formed sketch group is more like a family than colleagues, with each member bringing their own style of comedy to the team. Performing for sold out crowds in NYC, Kids These Days is ready to graduate onto the biggest stage of their careers. 

Calvin Evans

Solo

Hometown: Chicago, IL

Resident: Los Angeles, CA

Division: Stand-Up Act

Calvin’s introduction to comedy started at the age of nine when he discovered Eddie Murphy and has been hooked ever since then. While teaching children to follow their dreams at the Boys and Girls Club, he decided it was time he followed his own advice to follow his dreams. With the support of his family, Calvin has been living his comedy dream ever since.

Ali Siddiq

Solo

Hometown: Houston, TX

Resident: Houston, TX

Division: Stand-Up Act

Ali’s beginnings in comedy were a little different than most. During his six years of incarceration, Ali cultivated his very own comedic style of storytelling. Since that time, he has gone on to become a successful touring comedian and is ready to share his stories with all of America.  Ali has made appearances on Showtime, HBO, BET, AXS, and Comedy Central, where he also debuted his hour-long special.

Also advancing were Drennon Davis, Andrea Lopez, Matt Rife, JK Studios Happy Fun Friends, and Orlando Leyba. 

“Bring The Funny” airs Tuesdays on NBC.
