Prolific music producer Teddy Riley was honored a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Riley, known as the Godfather of New Jack Swing, has worked with many of music’s biggest names including Michael Jackson, Boys II Men, Mary J. Blige, Bobby Brown, Mya, Heavy D & The Boyz, Nate Dogg, Mase, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Foxy Brown, Keith Sweat, Dru Hill, Lady Gaga and Snoop Dogg to name a few.
Riley is an accomplished aIn 1987 Riley formed R & B group Guy along with Aaron Hall and Timmy Gatling and formed Blackstreet. The group won a Grammy for their hit “No Diggity” which reached number No. 1 on The Billboard Hot 100.
The Grammy-winning artist later performed a free Celebration Concert at Hollywood and Highland Complex to celebrate the star on Friday which the City of Los Angeles declared was “Teddy Riley” Day.
