Face Forward International held its 10th annual gala to support victims of Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, or any Cruel Acts of Crime with any service they need, including reconstructive surgery and emotional support. Held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, the evening began with a lavish Red Carpet for the event with Caitlin Jenner, CeeLo Green, Major and LaToya Jackson stopping by to talk about the importance of the cause.
Jackson was the Mistress of Ceremonies. A victim of domestic violence, LaToya spoke about the importance of year-round support. Caitlyn Jenner came to present an award to Scott Neeson who founded the Cambodian Children’s Fund. More than 500 guests were in attendance to help Face Forward founders Deborah Alessi and Dr. David Alessi support the cause.
This year’s ceremony included a live auction with lavish items for bid, including trips anywhere around the world and a private party with world-renowned chefs including Giada De Laurentiis, and attendance at the Espys with NBA Legend Byron Scott.
The evening concluded with performances by Major and CeeLo Green. TVMusic Network was invited to attend the event and chatted with celebs on the red carpet.
We spoke to singer Jaafar Jackson, son of Jermaine Jackson at the event. We talked about the gala, his new music and being a part of The Jackson Family.
