Disney released showed the final Star Wars trailer tonight during Monday Night Football. “Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker” is set to be the last in the Star Wars saga. JJ Abrams who directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens returns to direct this project following Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
In “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” the surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more as Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron’s journey continues. With the power and knowledge of generations behind them, the final battle commences.
The movie stars Daisey Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Issac, Billy Dee Williams, Keri Russell, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher in her final role.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 19.
