Comedian, actor, writer and producer Lil Rel Howery makes his HBO stand-up comedy debut with an hour-long special, premiering Saturday, November 23 (10:00-11:05 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.
Known for his well-crafted storytelling and hilarious impressions of the myriad characters he encounters in life, Lil Rel Howery draws on his personal experiences in his relatable, uproarious stand-up. The special was filmed before a live audience at Susan Miller Dorsey Senior High School in Los Angeles.
Howery’s previous credits include Oscar-winning film “Get Out,” as well as the smash hit “Bird Box,” “The Carmichael Show,” and HBO’s “Insecure.” He recently executive produced and starred in the comedy series “Rel,” and has starred in the films “Uncle Drew” and “Brittany Runs a Marathon.” He won Best Comedic Performance in a Movie at the MTV Movie & Television Awards, was nominated for an NAACP Image Award® for Best Supporting Actor and was crowned Bernie Mac Comedy King of the Year.
