The Voice returns for a new season with a special two-night event on Monday, February 24 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) and Tuesday, February 25 (8-9p.m.) Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers joins the acclaimed coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton as they return for Season 18. Carson Daly returns as host.

One of the standout Blind Auditions was 50-year-old Todd Michael Hall from Saginaw, Michigan. He performed Juke Box Heroes by Foreigner. Blake and John both turned around and starting their debate. Blake named RATT and Twisted Sister as the first records he purchased. It worked as Todd picks Blake to be his coach.

Todd found his passion for heavy metal music at 15 when he joined his brother’s band. He put music on the backburner after college and started working at his family’s manufacturing company. During that time, he started a pen pal relationship with a woman from India who was a fan of his former band. After three years of writing, he flew out to meet her and proposed on his second trip. They now have three kids and live in Michigan where Todd is the head of his family’s manufacturing company and owns a climbing gym that he offers free of charge. Outside of work and being a dad, Todd gigs abroad two months a year with the heavy metal band, Riot, now known as Riot V.
