This Wednesday was the strangest and most surprising one yet as one the celebrity contestants quit in the middle of the show. Gremlin who performed “Stand By Me” just minutes before the unmasking, told host Nick Cannon that he was taking his mask off.
Actor Mickey Rourke, who was the show’s clue to the Oscar nominee and Bafta winner for his role in “The Wrestler,” took his own mask off before the eliminations to the shock of Cannon and the show’s panelists, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger.
After being asked why he appeared on the series, Rourke said he “liked the show” and “was in the neighborhood”.
He added: “I watched four episodes and they asked if I’d be interested so I watched from the very beginning and all that s***.”
