“The Voice” aired their Top 9 live performance show on Monday night. The contestants performed twice. Their first performance was dedicated to their biggest fans, introduced by viewers at home.
The artists also broke off into trios to deliver group performances. Now it’s up to the viewers to vote for their favorites. Voting is open until Tuesday at 7 am ET, and we’ll find out who made it to the finals during tomorrow’s results show.
Desz, who was a 4 Chair turn that ended up on Team Kelly Clarkson, performed a powerful rendition of En Vogue’s “Don’t Let Go.” Clarkson, who is a big fan of the singer said that she’s be happy to sing background for Desz anytime.
“To have such an iconic person with an established career tell me, who’s just on a singing competition…don’t have …I’m just starting my career and she has a ton of wards and her own tv show it’s definitely an honor,” Desz told reporters via Zoom after the show. “[Kelly has] gone through the whole competition thing so she knows what the audience wants to see.”
