A new promo of American Idol is here. Season 4 of the series on ABC premieres on February 14. Ryan Seacrest introduced the promo during the ABC’s New Year’s Rockin Eve special. The clip features contestants auditioning for judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Byran. Auditions took place this fall at various California locations.
Contestants who earned a Golden Ticket were able to participate in the Hollywood Rounds which took place in December at The Dolby Theater in Hollywood,California.
