Say it isn’t so! Netflix’s breakout hit, “Bridgerton” will look different season. Rege-Jean Page, who plays Duke Hastings, is leaving the series ahead of Season 2. The was cleverly announced in the form of a letter from the show’s Lady Whistledown. The “letter” explained that Page’s character, Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings, will not be back in the next installment of the series. Daphne Bridgerton, who is the Duke’s love interest is expected to return for Season 2.
The second season of Bridgerton will center around Viscount Anthony Bridgerton’s love story and less from the Duke’s love story.
