MTV has announced the nominees for the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Emmy-nominated comedian Leslie Jones will be the host of the 2021 “MTV Movie & TV Awards.” As this year’s official host of the main show, Leslie will take the stage on Sunday, May 16 at 9pm ET/PT to celebrate the biggest and best moments in movies and television over the past year. Also, MTV will air the inaugural “Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED” on Monday, May 17, a first-of-its-kind celebration of all things reality television.
WandaVision (5), Emily In Paris (4), The Boys (4), Bridgerton (3), Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (3) and The Mandalorian (3) lead “MTV Movie & TV Awards” nominations.
Immediately following the “MTV Movie and TV Awards” will be “Movie and TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED,” which will recognize the best moments from reality shows and celebrate everything from reality TV.
