The promo leads up to their quest to discover the next superstar on the upcoming season five premiere and milestone 20th season overall of “American Idol.”
The promo will make its on-air debut during tonight’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022” live broadcast. This year marks the 50th anniversary of live Times Square staple.
“American Idol,” the iconic series that revolutionized the television landscape by pioneering the music competition genre, will return for its fifth season on ABC and historic 20th year overall on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 27.
