Jennifer Hudson has a new talk show coming. The show has been picked up by Fox Televisions and Hearst Television Stations for a fall 2022. The show is produced by Warner Brothers according to “Broadcast and Cable News.
The Jennifer Hudson Show joins Fox’s daytime lineup along with ” Sherri” starring Sherri Shepherd taking over Wendy Williams’ time slots on Fox stations.
“I have experienced so much in my life – I’ve seen the highest of the highs, the lowest of the lows, and just about everything in between but as my mother always told me, ‘Once you think you’ve seen it all, just keep on living,’’ Hudson said in a statement.
Hudson first came into the public’s eye as the 7th runner up in Season 3 of American Idol. She has had a success recording career and a Broadway run. She then went on to win an Oscar for her role as Effie White in “Dreamgirls”. She has also won two Grammys, an Emmy and is a Tony away from an EGOT.
She is currently getting critical acclaim and winning awards for her role as Aretha Franklin in “Respect”. She was hand-picked by Franklin for the role.
