On the season finale of “Big Brother,” the winner was announced. Taylor Hale became the first Black woman to win the competition. The house is not without drama every season and Hale’s speech to jury members won over fans as well on the popular show.
“I have overcome so much in this game and I have come to understand that I am not a shield. I am a sword. I am not a victim. I am a victor,” Hale said i her speech. “If there is one word that is going to describe the entire season, it is resiliency. If you were to ask yourself who the most resilient person of this season has been, it is me.”
Hale was also voted America’s Favorite Houseguest, which meant she was awarded an additional $50,000.
The winner of the $750,000 grand prize, Hale will liking get a guest appearance on the worldwide hit daytime drama “The Bold and the Beautiful which airs weekdays on CBS.
