Season 8 of “The Masked Singer” continued tonight with Vega Night and who better to kick off the episode than the original Season 1 peacock Donny Osmond who sang Viva Las Vegas before joining the judges’ panel alongside Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke.
First up was the reveal from last week of the Hummingbird who turned out to be NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick.
Then Harp, the reigning Queen of the season, took on two new competitors Pi-Rat and Panther. Pi-Rat was eliminated first, leaving Panther and Harp at the final two standing to have a Battle Royale. They both sang the same song before the judge’s panel voted for Panther to go home. Panther turned out to be singer Montel Jordan.
Pi-Rat turned out to be Jeff Dunham, a comedian and ventriloquist who is a Las Vegas staple.
“The Masked Singer” airs Wednesdays on Fox.
“The Masked Singer” is a reality singing competition that airs on FOX. Celebrities are completely concealed inside cumbersome costumes and their famous faces are hidden behind elaborate masks. They perform songs in the hopes of winning enough votes from the studio audience to stay in the competition. Nick Cannon currently hosts the show, which debuted on FOX on January 2, 2019. The four judges to date are Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke.
