Sydney Mikayla will star in a new feature film out next year. The film is “Crybaby Bridge“. The film shows a pregnant teen who after being bullied in school, her family sets to move from the city to the countryside. Unexpectedly revealing a coveted secret of her past that threatens the fresh start they seek. “Crybaby Bridge” explores the urban legend of a mother and child, but the sinister phenomenon may be more than just folklore.
The film is a psychological thriller and directed by Sarah T. Schwab. Schwab also co-wrote the movie with Emily Fouraker. The movie was filmed in September in Pennsylvania. Principal photography has officially wrapped and the movie is now in post production.
The movie is produced by Brian Long, Sarah T. Schwab, Cardinal Flix, Inc, Emily Fouraker, Wiithout-A-Net Productions, Lori Singleton and Mia Salvaterra.
Mikayla is best known for her three year stint on ABC’s “General Hospital.” Mikayla wrapped up her role on the show earlier this year. She received two Daytime Emmy nominations during her time on the show.
Next up for Mikayla is portraying the voice of Robby in “Transformers: Earthspark” which premieres on November 11 on Paramount Plus.
